Weekend Update
This isn't the Weekly Update with Boost Mobile but its just as good I can assure you. We were graced with waves the past week and hopefully everybody scored. Friday the forecast was calling for a hard southwest wind all day but we got lucky with light offshores throughout the evening. I dipped into Long Beach and found some top to bottom drainerrsss. Saturday was nothing special, and then today (Sunday) we got some fun ones. Surfed Central Long Island in a crowded winter lineup (as if 38 degree water didnt scare off enough people) but managed pretty well. JC Beierle was there to get some shots and rub it in for everybody who wasn't there.

Cowboy Country
Jackson Hole, Wyoming: home away from home. I've been coming here for 8 or 9 years and it never seems to let me down. Hands down, I've never been to a better mountain. Not only is the snow insane, but the people and the culture keeps me coming back. Every local has given up their lives to live the mountain life. They're scraping to get by and wouldn't want it any other way. I'm pretty sure they would sacrifice anything for their Pabst Blue Ribbon too haha. Anyway, their wasn't as much snow this year as past years but it was still mental. Had a blast messing around in some of the crazy terrain the mountain has to offer. Enough of this sweet talk, lets slam some PBR's!

Mexico
Mexico is awesome. From meeting new people to snorkeling in 75 degree water, everything here is just amazing. Little different climate from Noah's post, looks like he's having a ball on the mountains as i'm making friends with little fishes on the reef. I do not want to leave. I have been having an amazing time meeting new friends, and chillen in the sun! And tonight i had a beer and a cigar with my dad watching the sunset.. Living the life!

Freezing.
Well, last sunday (2-7-10) was probably one of the coldest days, if not the coldest day, I have ever been to the beach. The waves were like chest high, winds were offshore, and it was about 15 degrees. I managed to get a few shots with Stevie Patsis and Alex Fawess. Tomorrow, Wednesday (2-10-10), is expected a major blizzard for the Northeast. My school got cancelled, as well as Work. I am expected to have my road test tomorrow morning, we'll see if that happens!
Here are some shots from an absolutely freezing morning.

New York gets good? yep.
After a long trip to Puerto Rico scoring sick waves I come home to 13 days of flatness. I woke up Monday (1/19/10) so stoked to finally get some sick barrels. Me and two friends paddle out in Bridgehampton to reeling left tubes. On my first wave I airdrop to the bottom and brake my board in half. Sick right? I get my back up board set up and get two more freezing sessions in. It was as good as the hamptons get. Top to bottom heavy ass tubes. After eating shit on almost every drop, I got a few sick ones that made it all worth it. Hopefully we get some more this weekend.

Well now that you've seen what the Hamptons looked like monday, what do you say we take a look at what Long Beach looked like. Wouldn't say it was as good as the Hamptons, but it was pretty rippable. I was shooting with Stevie Patsis, who had just arrived back to NY from a month long trip to Hawaii. I would say he scored big time up there. Surfing Pipe everyday will do the job. Going from wearing boardshorts, to wearing a 5 millimeter wetsuit with booties, gloves, and a hood, is a major change he had to overcome. Surfing with broken fingers, Stevie still managed to get barreled.
